Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a unique approach to psychotherapy. Utilizing bilateral eye movements and other techniques to reduce/manage symptoms. https://acceleratedresolutiontherapy.com/
Eye movements are calming and therapeutic is evidenced-based. It has been shown that they produce theta waves in the brain. Theta waves have been connected to creativity, intuition, daydreaming. These brain waves are often present during meditative states.
One of the special aspects of ART is that when clients replace their negative images with positive ones they don’t need to talk to the therapist about any details of the trauma. This is because ART is procedural, though creative; and the client is really in control of the process, while the ART Therapist is a helpful guide. This makes the therapy easier on the client and easier on the therapist.
Although some traumatic experiences such as rape, combat or loss of a loved one can be very painful to visualize and process, we can move through that pain in a therapeutic process together.
*Sessions are 80+ minutes

Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) is a skills-based program for family members and other Concerned Significant Others (CSOs) who have someone close to them with a substance use disorder.
It is a non-confrontational approach that uses scientifically validated behavioral and motivational principles to reduce our loved one’s substance use and to encourage them to seek treatment.
Providing tools and instructions that you can use within your own home and family to change your interactions with our loved ones is the focus of CRAFT. These skills will become essential as you navigate and maintain a positive trajectory for all of your family members over the long journey of your struggling loved one’s recovery.
This cognitive-behavioral program is designed to get treatment-refusing substance-abusing individuals to enter treatment by teaching family members/CSOs how to support a clean/sober lifestyle.
The substance user does not need to participate in any of the sessions.
Offered through group and/or individual sessions.
